Doosan

Doosan is the fifth largest construction manufacturing equipment company in the world. Articulated dump trucks, crawler excavators, log loaders, wheeled excavators, wheel loaders, compact construction equipment, and attachments are among their extensive product line up. Industries served include construction, mining, material handling, demolition, and forestry.

Doosan began manufacturing equipment in 1937, but they didn’t focus on the construction industry until the 1970s. Their first excavator came out in 1978 and their first wheel loader in 1992. The expanded into the compact equipment market in 2007 by acquiring Ingersoll Rand’s compact equipment unit and Bobcat. They also own the Geith (known for compact equipment) and Tramac (known for hydraulic demolition equipment) brands. Doosan also purchased Daewoo Heavy Industries in 2005.

Doosan’s products focus on durability, ease of maintenance, quality, and energy efficiency. Their continued popularity is a witness to their success in achieving these goals.
